Do I remove the dash ?

The car goes to the cage guy this week. Should I remove the dash ? It seems like quite a bit of work so I guess how much weight is in there to remove ? Is there an easy way to remove a 924S dash ?

I remove the dash in my cars in order to faciltate removing the heating and A/C, blower units. It also makes it easier for the cage guy to install a transverse kneebar from front leg to front leg. Lots of room for welding.
