markseven Posted February 20, 2007 Posted February 20, 2007 Does a working speedometer improve the HPDE experience / learning process? Should I get my speedo fixed before the next event? I'm in RG 1, BTW. Quote
kbrew8991 Posted February 20, 2007 Posted February 20, 2007 I can't see it being required... but it might make your instructor happier to have a 100% fully functional car to trust thier life to... Quote

99HOSS Posted February 20, 2007 Posted February 20, 2007 ... it's not really needed, for the student, as you'll be waaayyy too busy with all the other stuff you'll need to be concentrating on. Now, me, as an instructor, do use the speedo to determine improvements in those areas we are working on. Corner exit speeds mostly. Quote
