i might not have enough room to place the dry sump in the trunk (may be too high and too far back- causing too much rear momentum). can i put it in on the rear floor board and vent it outside the car with all braided lines or would this be considered a hazard. and would it have to be boxed in ; to prevent hot spillage.

If I am not mistaken, most dry-sump units are placed in the car, in the passenger side rear backseat area.

appreciate that. do you know of any safety issues with doing that?

If you use quality steel braded lines, good fittings, you should be okay. Its not that hard. Proper sump oil containers should not leak or spill if turned upside down... Secure the lines with hold downs so they are not stressed under heavy g-load. You should look at some other cars that have similar systems before intall....
