xupkid2
I am in urgent need of a speed sensor for my 944. The sensors that read off the flywheel. One of my wires broke so my engine wont start and I have an event next week. Can anyone help? If you have both the reference and speed sensor I'd be interested in both. Please PM me or email me at [email protected] Thanks Brian
Weston
This is by far the cheapest I've found new ones for: http://www.paragon-products.com/Reference_Sensor_p/0.261.210.002.htm If only I would have found that before I bought mine at $110/each... xupkid2
Thanks much for the suggestion. I was fearing having to pay $180 for each through Pelican. Best yet is I am a big fan of Paragon and never thought to see if they had the part. Thanks Brian
Tim Comeau
Weston, Nice work for the class! Through aftermarket parts warehouses these are $120, my cost!
todd84944
That is by far the cheapest I have ever found. I wonder how many more parts out there that will work on our cars, that are aftermarket????
Tim Comeau
I found a BMW voltage regulator that is much cheaper than the Porsche one.
Spec-944#70
Is that a stock OEM part? I thought ALL parts must be factory stock unless otherwise noted. (2.1) This part does not fall under the improves aesthetics, access, safty or reliability. (2.3) Yes it provides no performance advantage and is cheaper but is not Spec. There is no special allowance for use of BMW voltage regulators. What next a BMW AFM?
Tim Comeau
It's the same part, just sold as a BMW part. Our steel control arms are also sold as VW parts. Our short 5th gear is also sold as an Audi part. See what I mean? No need to raise a false alarm.....
