JWL
Folks- Thanks to our friend Tom Wilson, we have an excellent article in this month's 5.0 Mustang and Super Fords spanning nearly seven pages with some excellent shots and words about the series. You can pick up it now nearly anywhere (got mine at the local shop n' stop) and start reading on page 40. John Thawley III also shot some beautiful photos of the cars and one lovely shot of Ernesto's mug, so this one is a keeper. We've got more stuff coming down the pipe with Super Chevy later in the year, so we'll try to make you all World Famous at some point if we can. Enjoy! -JWL
Ernesto Roco
Thanks 5.0 and SuperFords, JWL and whoever else is responsible for the AI/AIX exposure. This is good for the sport but hopefully people reading it will not think that they have to have 1000 hp to be competitive, that is just not the case. I am still rolling around with my freebie 347 crate motor. This article caught me by surprise as I did'nt even remember that pic being taken or being interviewed for it.. pederb
I have to run over to Target at lunch get it. congrats Ernesto your car has been featured twice now right?
Ernesto Roco
My car was not the feature car. I was just an extra who walked right into the shot I think Paul Brown may have been the feature car but it really was just about AIX and the Nationals. pederb
This must be the May issue right? I picked up the April issue and I got dizzy seeing all these wheel standing tire smoking Mustangs. You would think that drag racing is the only thing to if you have a Mustang.

Tiger Racing
This article caught me by surprise as I did'nt even remember that pic being taken or being interviewed for it.. Oh, so you don't remember claiming that you do it all? Wrench, drive, trailer... and cook lunch? Come on now, give credit where credit is due. You may be a whiz with a wrench and you can drive circles around a few guys, but your wife is the ace in the kitchen! C.
Ernesto Roco
That is true with the cooking. I just heat it up in the microwave and serve it up My wife cooks all the food the night before I leave so I can eat healthy and not have to leave the track. I believe Paul and you have sampled most of her dishes for me I remember having a conversation with Tom Wilson about Mid Ohio but I did not see him writing things down or anything. Also, the story about the motor blowing up at Mid Ohio was'nt quite accurate, I don't know where that came from. I also liked the part when they say I "claimed" so and so horsepower. I learned my lesson to never respond when someone asks me how much power I have.
Tiger Racing
That is true with the cooking. I just heat it up in the microwave and serve it up My own cooking skills do not extend beyond defrosting and reheating. Thank the gods I found a man who can not only build me a race car, but can also cook me dinner! (and doesn't mind doing so) My wife cooks all the food the night before I leave so I can eat healthy and not have to leave the track. I believe Paul and you have sampled most of her dishes for me Yes we have! And we enjoyed every, last morsel! I remember having a conversation with Tom Wilson about Mid Ohio but I did not see him writing things down or anything. Everything you say to a reporter is "on the record" unless you specifically state otherwise. Also, the story about the motor blowing up at Mid Ohio was'nt quite accurate, I don't know where that came from. I've been misquoted enough in print that I now take everything I read with a grain of salt. I also liked the part when they say I "claimed" so and so horsepower. I learned my lesson to never respond when someone asks me how much power I have. Heh. Doesn't every World Challenge GT car make "around 500 horse"? C.
