Red Tornado
This is something we do for time trials and is nice for giving folks a gauge. Is this something we can do and add to the AI website?? Would others want to see this also??
Red Tornado
I see everyone viewed it does that mean folks have interest in this??
ffspecracer
We are currently gathering data and will be adding OH/IN and Midwest track records to our sites in the near future. This will encompass all classes.
Red Tornado
Any other regions doing this??
Renntag
CMC has a lap record page. I would like to see all of our lap records together to get an idea of the spread between classes. Some tracks wont have as much of a difference as others.
tacovini
Texas keeps an all inclusive (AI/CMC) track record spreadsheet along with the season points. I agree...it would be great to use the same format and have each regional director just fill in the times/tracks in a central location. I've sent ours off to JWL...we'll see if we can get this going on the AI site. -=- Todd

tacovini
Actually....Glenn Landrum's 'da man. (His daughter has a shirt to prove it.) He maintains the points and track records for the Texas region. He deserves the kudos...not me. I just try to put a pretty bow on things down here...our Texas racers really do all the work!!! FWIW...here's a cut/paste of our track records/notables: Track Class Record Time Name Date MSRC (1.7mi) CCW AI 1:21.648 John George 03/04/06 MSRC (1.7mi) CCW AIX 1:22.037 David Armstrong 04/22/06 MSRC (1.7mi) CCW CMC 1:24.201 Jeff Burch 03/04/07 MSRC (1.7mi) CCW CMC-2                                     TWS (2.9mi) CCW AI 1:53.785 John George 08/21/05 TWS (2.9mi) CCW AIX 1:58.069 Bob Hahn 08/06/06 TWS (2.9mi) CCW CMC 1.59.752 Glenn Landrum 08/06/06 TWS (2.9mi) CCW CMC-2 TWS (2.9mi) CW AI 1:56.190 David Donovan 04/28-29/07 TWS (2.9mi) CW AIX TWS (2.9mi) CW CMC 1:59.016 Al Fernandez 04/28-29/07 TWS (2.9mi) CW CMC-2 Hallett CCW AI 1:24.387 John George 09/17/05 Hallett CCW AIX 1:24.644 David Armstrong 06/17/06 Hallett CCW CMC 1:29.635 Jeff Burch 06/18/06 Hallett CCW CMC-2 NPR AI 1:20.319 John George 06/11/05 NPR AIX 1:25.286 John Brannan 06/12/05 NPR CMC 1:24.381 Eric Varner 07/11/05 NPR CMC-2 MSRH AI 1:44.986 John George 05/20/06 MSRH AIX 1:45.834 David Armstrong 10/21/06 MSRH CMC 1:48.239 Glenn Landrum 02/03/07 MSRH CMC-2 Mid Ohio (06 National Event) 2.4mi AI 1:39.017 Jason Andrew 9/17/2006 Mid Ohio (06 National Event) 2.4mi AIX 1:33.156 Paul Brown 9/17/2006 Mid Ohio (06 National Event) 2.4mi CMC 1:43.466 Aaron Bambach 9/17/2006 Mid Ohio (06 National Event) 2.4mi CMC 1:43.680 Glenn Landrum 9/17/2006 Mid Ohio (06 National Event) 2.4mi CMC 1:43.856 Jeff Burch 9/17/2006 Mid Ohio (06 National Event) 2.4mi CMC 1:44.649 Todd Covini 9/17/2006 Mid Ohio (06 National Event) 2.4mi CMC 1:45.020 Adam Ginsberg 9/17/2006 Mid Ohio (06 National Event) 2.4mi CMC 1:45.748 Team Warhorse 9/17/2006 Mid Ohio (06 National Event) 2.4mi CMC 1:47.177 Nick Runyon 9/17/2006 -=- Todd
Red Tornado
So records are like SCCA with it has to be during a race not qualifying.
tacovini
YES. Must be in full race trim and recorded during a race. Fully compliant with the rules. Valid dyno sheet (where req'd)...within weight restrictions...etc. etc. A DQ would obviously nullify a track record. -=- T
