Red Tornado
I think I am off or missing something. What is min weight for 342rwhp and 359trq? What would be max rwhp and trq for 3,282lbs?

A car weighing 3282lbs is allowed: 364.6 tq 345.5 hp 342 hp car must weight 3249lbs 359 tq car must weigh 3231 So if you have those 2 numbers you need to weigh the greater of the 2 to remain legal... 3249 lbs. At least that would be my take.
Red Tornado
I thought so. I think Ed just hit the calc button wrong on his calculator as he used 3,271lbs which I couldn't figure out. So since I way 3,331lbs almost empty I need to lose some weight or add some more power although it is a decent margin of safety so I never get DQ'd for being over 1rwhp or something. Rustic
Is your motor fresh? If so... I'd give it some time before you start changing things. But then agian, I don't know how FoMoCo motors work.... but it's not uncommon for a SBC to gain a few Hp as it breaks in. I believe this phenomena cost an F-body driver the regional championship a couple of years ago... got busted being 4 or 5 hp over once the motor broke in.... even though he was fine when the motor was fresh. Chris, yes, you are correct. For some reason, I was thinking the torque rating used 9.1:1... Not sure where I got that from. Anyway, your calculations are correct and I'll get you another sticker with the correct figures. Sorry for the confusion, dude. Ed
