Pat L.
Can probably be stolen at a good price. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=012&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&viewitem=&item=220112804033&rd=
Adam Ginsberg
Not bad, but the cage will have to modified/reworked to be NASA legal.

Renntag
Do you guys know what wheel this is?
racercosmo
Looks like the wheel that Baer was selling for a while. I believe it's actually a JDM Nissan Z car wheel.

Renntag
I am guessing the rear runners not meeting the floor is the issue? Good example of why its important to read a rule book and take notes prior to firing up the electric glue gun.
b_tone
That is not that big of an issue(the rear down tubes to a cross bar rather than the floor). I am going through that right now with a car that I am assisting on the build for. It came to with the rear down tubes like that (which i personally don't see an issue with at all but that's a separate thread) and it was a very easy fix, under 2 hours total fab time. If anyone would like to see pics I have them. bpt
Renntag
... If anyone would like to see pics I have them. Yes, I am always interested in checking out different builds. So what was mickey trying to point out above? I guess I am missing something if the rear bars will infact pass tech.

So what was mickey trying to point out above? I guess I am missing something if the rear bars will infact pass tech. If nothing were to change in that pic, that would probably not pass tech because the rear down tubes do not terminate directly on the floor rather they terminate on the rear shock tower crossbar. That is easy to fix, PM me and i'll send you the pics of what we did to remedy it. bpt

z28racergirl
Good example of why its important to read a rule book and take notes prior to firing up the electric glue gun. I believe this car was built before AI existed, fyi. Christine
Renntag
Then why does it say.....(?) I have too many projects and unfortuneately this has to go. You are bidding on a 1990 Griggs Racing Mustang. This car was build for use in the NASA American Iron/American Iron Extreme Series but is compatible with many other sanctioning bodies and series. funny. petevw
The car and cage was built by Griggs Racing at the their shop in Sonoma in the mid 90's it was legal at the time it was constructed. I stated that the cage would need to be modified to be usable for racing. The car was originally built as a track toy and would have no issues passing tech as an HPDE car or something along those lines. I never stated that cage was race legal. Regardless the car is in great shape and with the right modifications would be very competitive. Please feel free to contact me with any questions Thank you Colin Sebern [email protected] (805)451-1807
