Looking for old Race Brakes

Recommended Posts

I'm currently trying to quickly get my 1983 944 (soon 944 Spec) track worthy. They brakes that are on it are junk. But before I pick up race pads for the season, I'd like to try out some different compounds. So if anyone has any used pads that they'd part with for a fair price, I'd loved to pick up a few different pairs.

Thanks,

Huh, lots of looks but no offers. Still need pads, badly. If no one has any that they want to part with, I'll be forced to order a new set on Monday.

Anyone run Hawk HT-10s? That's what I've been running on the M Coupe and I love them, but that car weight 700# more and goes a whole lot faster.

I will have a set of 1/2 used Hawk Blues soon (be taking them off before MAM). Problem is my calipers (which I'll be replacing at the same time) are old, and the pads are worn somewhat unevenly. You can have them if you like, but they may not seat well in different calipers. They stopped OK for me, but they did quickly get the white frost of being overheated, and I had some rotor warpage, so I'm going to try the HT-10's.

I have a set of PFC 97s I may be willing to part with. The driver side caliper is dragging, so the drivers side is well worn, Im not sure on the passenger side. Im replacing the calipers tomorrow afternoon, so I can give you an accurate description tomorrow.

Ok I got the calipers off last night. One pair of pads is abotu half worn. The other pair of pads is about 3/4 worn. Let me know if you want them.
