ghettoracer Posted June 1, 2007 Posted June 1, 2007 http://www.ghettoracer.com/cars/eg-h1/ The car is under powered. We also took this opportunity to test our prototype Type-SS profile for the B series engine. Just a quickie 15 minute tune... more R&D soon. Need to build a 2 liter engine for it as well... Quote
mikeski38 Posted June 1, 2007 Posted June 1, 2007 The car is under powered.... Don't start making excuses already, 193 whp looks pretty good to me. Quote
ghettoracer Posted June 1, 2007 Author Posted June 1, 2007 (edited) it is undered powered. DNR can get 205-210 whp pretty out of 1.8 (looking at H1 rules). they've gotten as high as 225 whp on a 1.8, on 91 oct. no less. mike: ur motor in delly built or stocker? dre: when u ran this in nov. it wasn't as fast as your EK that's for sure. if i can do a 2:05 i'll be happy for now. btw i have no time to align it. seems to drive straight on the streets. when you removed the monoballs, what bushings on in the car? are they stockers? km said they might be ITR bushings?! how about alignment? what's the last setting you guys used? do i need to worry about underweight? (i'm about 175 lbs). not an issue right? thx. Edited June 1, 2007 by Guest Quote
Andrie Posted June 1, 2007 Posted June 1, 2007 I didn't deny when I drove it in Nov it wasn't as fast as my EK. Would have done much better if there was no suspension issue. Can use a little more power, but not too bad. Quote
ghettoracer Posted June 1, 2007 Author Posted June 1, 2007 what' susp. issue was it? hmm, maybe i should corner weight and align it myself just to be sure. would suck to have it ill handling and i need to omce up with more excuses... ohh wait, i can just say, damn i sucked! heheh. Quote
BrianZ Posted June 1, 2007 Posted June 1, 2007 do i need to worry about underweight? (i'm about 175 lbs). not an issue right? The Honda Challnege cars in NorCal get weigh often. Usualy after qual or the race.. Quote
ghettoracer Posted June 1, 2007 Author Posted June 1, 2007 right. i figure andre know the weight of the car w/o driver. so i don't have to worry about ballest... what the heck. i'll corner weight myself and find out. humph. Quote
