Rally West Virginia Moves to a 2-Day event format!

Recommended Posts

We're pleased to announce that Rally West Virginia is going to be a 2-day event for 2007. We have worked with the highway department and local residents to secure 2 new roads for stages on Friday afternoon, Aug 3, in addition to a full day's rally on Saturday, Aug 4. These new roads continue in the same style as the Saturday roads: driver and co-driver will be fully and intensely engaged 100% of the time on these roads.

This moves the USRC event to a 2 day event format, as well as the Max-Attack! event. The ESRC scoring will be scored as 2 events on Friday and Saturday. Competitors who need to conserve finances or who do not have the time for a full 2 day event have the option to enter for the Saturday ESRC event only.

Please visit the website: http://www.rallywv.com

to donwload the Supplementary regs, whcih have just been posted today.

Early entry starts tomorrow so enter early!

Regards!

Mark B.

Good news Mark, I am glad that you got the extra roads approved.

Is the road surface more like the afternoon or morning stages from last year.

More like afternoon: a mix of rough and smooth on each stage; plus a serious climb and descent over Cheat Mountain in/out of the Cheat River gorge.
