jerseybrandon Posted June 4, 2007 Posted June 4, 2007 Just like the subject says. I am looking for 225 45 15 or 225 50 15 race tires. With as much life left on them as possible. Sub 100 tread wear i.e. as sticky as possible. They do not need to live very long, they're for a hillclimb car so they do not see the mileage of a road race car. Let me know what you have, Brandon [email protected] Quote
Renntag Posted June 4, 2007 Posted June 4, 2007 Brandon. I am also looking for used tires in this size for a car I am prepping. I will let you know if something comes my way that I cant use. Tell Scott I said hello and that he needs to come to Summit Point ASAP ! Quote
chrisallen76 Posted June 5, 2007 Posted June 5, 2007 Brandon, I'm in Northern NJ & I have two full sets of 225-50-15 tires at my house. One set is Toyo RA-1's & the other is Hoosier R3S04's. (I'm switching to 225-45-15 b/c the gearing in my tranny sucks) If you're interested in either, shoot me an email at chrisallen76 at hotmail.com. - Chris Quote

I try, he doesn't dry himself away from work very often. I was just at Summit last weekend, had a blast. Quote
Renntag Posted June 5, 2007 Posted June 5, 2007 ... I was just at Summit last weekend, had a blast. 12 hour or formula drift? I was there for both. Hung out with the Red Bull Team and the toyo/ford motorsport team. I had a great time. Quote

Renntag Posted June 5, 2007 Posted June 5, 2007 May 26/27 you were on the Jefferson Circuit? Interesting. Do hill climb clubs usually use race tracks? Quote

Renntag Posted June 5, 2007 Posted June 5, 2007 ...I was there... And you didn't come say hi?...... Uhhh, you were at Summit? I saw Cobetto and Felton. PHA does 2 road course events at Jefferson each year... How do you like the JC? Does it give you all what you need? Have you seen the Shenandoah? It is wild. Quote

Have you seen the Shenandoah? It is wild. For a short course it was pretty diverse and I did have a blast. The esses in the back corner were tricky and REALLY slick in the morning. I would love to race Shenandoah, maybe next year if I race GTS or PT. Quote
Renntag Posted June 5, 2007 Posted June 5, 2007 No NASA race on Shenandoah. It is a great track and lends itself well to small cars. The Esses from T1-T4 on the JC are fun. It is really easy to slide and get 'crossed up'. Not the fastest way through but fun none the less. Quote
