solowrx Posted June 8, 2007 Posted June 8, 2007 This is the ultimate toe behind tire trailer for the weekend warrior. This lightweight trailer can carry two sets of 275-40-17 tire with a 3'x4' center section for tools pop up tents etc. 3500 axle that contains its own suspension. Made of aluminum and stainless/diamond plate it tows easily behind neon, subaru and even rx7. Just gone through it with new bearings and safety chains. 15 d load tires are only two seasons old and in excellent shape. Paid $1500.00 for it two years ago. Asking $900. I cant figure how to post pics, so if your interested, please let me know and I'll email them. Andrew Quote

Members Jim P. Posted June 9, 2007 Members Posted June 9, 2007 That is one sweet trailer! who makes them? Quote
solowrx Posted June 9, 2007 Author Posted June 9, 2007 I friend of mine named Curt Janis. He owns a trailer shop here in Dallas, and it was custom built with small cars in mind. I have a Subaru and it sits at least a foot lower than the car. Very light around 450lbs unloaded and tows like a dream. He thought about producing them, but there seems to be little interest in a $1500 tire trailer. Its water tight and lockable, simply awesome. Quote

Falcon Posted June 18, 2007 Posted June 18, 2007 Holy Moly! That looks like something Renegade would make if they made trailers that small! Very nice! TTT! Quote
