Howdy,

i was wondering how often axle failures happen in the HC ,doesnt matter the class. and what are most people running? aftermarket or is it good just have quite a few spare standard sets with you...

I've decided to go with new NAPA axles, and replace them once a year, and keep some working spares with me. I'll see how that works out. NAPA axles seem to be working well for me, I've had a few sets now on my (sold) ITR and my Prelude.

Raxles? nice 3 years..i cant even make my street car cv axles last 3 years lol.

OEM with new redline CV grease every year. 3 years and no problems yet. H2/H3 honda prelude.

Nice,thanks.. I seem to have noticed that with Axles and Wheel Bearings,the grease you choose can eliminate alot of issues.Something i never looked into...but need to.

I use The Driveshaft Shop for my H1 car. Just installed two new ones last night. They aren't bigger, but they use high temp racing grease, etc.

I had 2 rebuilds fail...now went with raxles and haven't had an issue. Marty is a cool guy!

i've had a set of OEM's on the ITR since I built the car at the end of 03. Haven't had trouble yet (knock on wood), but I do have spares.
