wlfpkrcn1 Posted July 1, 2007 Posted July 1, 2007 Here's a few pics for you. I'll get some more downloaded soon FYI- Steve is doing ok. He know's he'll be sore for a couple days. He is really bummed. Hopefully he will be back out soon Quote
max1os Posted July 2, 2007 Posted July 2, 2007 Cool pics! Look forward to seeing your others. MAJOR BUMMER about Steve in his BMW. Heard he spun in someone else's fluid. It's one thing when you screw up on your own, it's all together a totally different deal when something out of the blue comes along that you have no control over. -M Quote

My brother had problems all weekend. I stopped by, but you were having belt issues. Steve spun in either oil or gas laid down in front of him on the entrance to the esses. The engine didn't take a big hit. We may be able to salvage the majority of the car for the next one. If there is a next one Quote
Piersin Posted July 2, 2007 Posted July 2, 2007 I'm just glad everyone is ok. What was the fluid? Quote
wlfpkrcn1 Posted July 2, 2007 Author Posted July 2, 2007 Popular consensus is Gas. Large quantity of it apparently. I have not seen the video yet Quote
valleymotorwerks Posted July 3, 2007 Posted July 3, 2007 Steve, Sorry to hear about this.. Scott Neville told me about it earlier in the weekend. Hopefully you're going to be ok and will get back in the saddle. I do have a shell that is yours for free if or when you decide you want to transfer all your stuff over. I will probably keep it around here for a few more weeks. Walter Quote
wlfpkrcn1 Posted July 3, 2007 Author Posted July 3, 2007 Thanks!! I forwarded your info to Steve Eric Quote
jake-racer Posted July 3, 2007 Posted July 3, 2007 Special thanks to Walter at Valley Motorwerks and Eric at Wolfpac Racing for their efforts in finding a donor car. With Fred (Eric's brother) and Eric's help and Fred's wife putting up with all of us, we will be back into Spec e30 racing later this season. And finally - all is well physicially here. I have resumed a "normal' routine. Now if only my wife would speak with me again...... Quote
mcolangelo2005 Posted July 4, 2007 Posted July 4, 2007 +1 to Walter at Valley Motorwerks! That's one of the classiest things I've ever seen and speaks well of the Spec E30 crowd. Steve - good luck! Quote
markfw Posted July 4, 2007 Posted July 4, 2007 + another 1 for Walter He has also helped me with my car, and really supports racers. Mark p.s. Walter, I hope your back is feeling better Quote
