Dawg
i'm running a 3350lb (with driver) 2003 mustang cobra. just wondering if there would be a set of slicks that would worth the money to spend and make up the difference of 70 hp. i can't find 70 hp in the motor; maybe 20. but i'm at the limit of points if i was going with slicks. by the way i'm running 11" tires. my point is should i find slicks or go for 20 hp. which would bring in the best overall times. phoenixR34
Michelin Pilot slicks are the way to go, especially if you're running 11" wide wheels. Depending on what tires you're running now, I would think a set of good Michelin slicks will be worth more than 70hp, especially on a 3300lb+ car.
