Markus
Did Bill Marquardt get a new Miata? Last year he was running a 99+ I thought, which is TTE now isn't it? - Mark
kbrew8991
unless with tire width credits you can drop back a class... he ran street tires on the '99 last year.....? I've never though to ask if that is possible within the rules to do that... but you are correct, the only Miata with a base class in TTF is the 1.6l @ TTF** (which is one star to steep imho, which ranges across the board for all Miatas) why don't ya slap a stock suspension and RA1s on your car and come play with us for one of the days,, Markus? Jan in Omaha
I would love to come play... but I think I have a conflict that week. (I also have a conflict in the fundage department) When is it again and how many events do you have to run to qualify? I would love to run try and finish ahead of Bill again (home track advantage is a wonderful thing)
kbrew8991
just 5 days of competition (Sat & Sun weekend would get you 2) and you just need one good lap... if you had THAT big a conflict you could run a day or two and head out early, or maybe run the last 2 days or something if a just-out-of-college kid like me can afford it, so can you Its TTF, should be just another cheap 3 day weekend
Markus
why don't ya slap a stock suspension and RA1s on your car and come play with us for one of the days,, Markus? Sure...just help me swap things back and forth between sessions ok? Seriously to everyone who is on the fence, in addition to being another 3 day weekend it is also a great environment. The heightened atmosphere brought out some of my best driving (finally...eventually...at the end), the hospitality parties are great, and meeting different drivers from all over the US is very rewarding. - Mark PS - Someone needs to come beat Ken too. Markus
PS - Someone needs to come beat Ken too. hey, 2 people did it last year.... 3rd still got you on the podium! I'm guessing there could be 8+ TTE cars this year, I'd be happy with third. I would like some more of that cheap champaigne, thank you. - Mark

She would kill me if I went to Ohio instead of helping her that weekend.
