This is THE best 944 track in California! Twisty turns, elevation changes make it a real drivers track!

Come have some great steaks or BBQ dinner over beers and racing stories with the rest of the best 944 drivers.

Racing or HPDE....any 924S/944 can find a way to participate!

The weather should be beautiful.

Looking forward to some great racing......mark your calendars now!

Hey guys,

This event also includes a Driving Concepts racing school!

http://www.drivingconcepts.com

Get your names in there NOW! Get your license to race!

I promise, it's an accomplishment that's worthy of your time and effort!

I know, it's a little uncomfortable and worrisome, but we're supposed to do things that scare us once in a while, right?!

I like to go to nightclubs and "accidentally" flash my racing license instead of my regular drivers license....

"oh, sorry, darling, wrong license. My bad"

"Why, yes, sweetie, I AM a race car driver. Are those real?"

Come race your 944 with us in NASA!

Here's a friendly deal from Comeau Racing Enterprises, Inc.

If you bring a new 944 (*)driver to this Buttonwillow event, Racing or HPDE, I'll buy their Sat night dinner with us!

* Must be a 944 driver who I've never met before.

The problem is that hardly anyone knows what a "Competition License" is... you gotta write "race car driver's license" or "NASCAR" on it in big letters, and then people will know what it is.

I'll most likely have my car done by then and be there. I'll bring my two girls Freda and Rafina. I don't think you have met them ?(ha ha). We will be BBQ ing in the pits again with an open invite to all 944 guys. I'll see if I can get the guy who built all of our roll cages to show up as well. His name is Rob also.

Brad,

...at your service.

Robert,

Fred and Rafi (aka Freda and Rafina) had better have some damn good make up and sexy clothes on,.....and I better be really drunk to not recognize them!

Nice try, though!

FYI,

For those thinking of bunking with TC I got to let you know he makes "VROOOOM, VROOOM" noises in his sleep!!

Also beware he can get that drunk as to not recognize you in drag but be aware he may hit on you!!

Hope you all have a great time,

Thanks, Eric. (I think?)

Anyway, the registration page shows that the track configuration will be # 13 Clockwise.

I'll try to post a video of some racing on that cofig.

There's also an enduro that weekend! Fun to watch the pit stops!

  • 4 weeks later...

Event attendance list has been updated on the first post.

Jackie Lu just registered for her first HPDE with NASA.

I'm working on getting Jackie Corwin to Buttonwillow as well.....

Tim,

Include me in the race group. I missed this weekends POC event and will miss Octobers as well. Note that I do have headers and a chip so I will have to run Cup.

I am planning on racing in October and November. I need to learn Buttonwillow as I will be new to that track.

Tim,

I am nursing two broken ribs that kept me out of the POC event, as well... Although I am day to day... If I can heal in time... I will run CUP with my good friend David Hirsch...
