Just a quick question are the race groups set in stone or are they subject to change based on the number of cars signed up. I'm just curious because with the growth of Spec E30 and the size of the GTS group, the GTS/Spec E30 group is getting very large. Would it make sense to move the Spec E30 group to the Spec 944/944 cup/super cup/ spec neon group? Just a thought.

Tell them what you really want Simon. You want to run GTS1 and Spec E30.

Good Luck,

Hadn't even thought about that. I was just curious really I thought it would be a large group, I actually wouldn't mind watching the GTS race also.

I understand that the run groups will not be finalized until Sept. 1st and that some rebalancing is posible. Keep you fingers crossed!

Rac groups will be finalized this weekend, but I've got a busy weekend ahead so you may not see updates until Tuesday am.

From what I've read and seen, not sure the general sentiment from all E30 drivers would be in favor of being grouped with the 944's.

SpecE30 and 944Cup run together in the SE and it always seems to be a nicely matched race - especially with a split start and/or a standing start.

you think you'd want them to not run with another spec car that runs about the same lap times, makes passing kind of a PITA, and it probably makes it harder to respect in-class battles that way...

It'd be like the german version of CMC.

Call it the Bavaria-Stuttgart Challenge?
