I'm in, but it's going to be about 9 hours for me. It must be great to live within minutes of a track.

Since my wife has threatened to remove my "competitive bone" - she was not specific what that entailed by the way - I will darn sure not ask for another one!

I know camping will be allowed at Barber but what will the cost to camp be and will there also be a charge for electricity? I know we have a charge for camping at other tracks but I have never seen an electricity charge as well.

Is there electricity for the hauler on all the levels or only in certain areas?

Since I like to camp at the tracks, it would be nice to know what the charges are and if electricity is available on all the levels or if I will need to bring the generator.

Most of the paddock does not have access to power....unless you run it from the pit walls?

Theres only juice on the lower levels, IIRC, unless things have changed since last season.

I was on the second level (where the gas station is located) and there were outlets toward the inside (farthest from the track).

Here's one from a lowly TTB car

I typically do not jump the curb on the entry to the kink (backstraight), but on that day there was a stream of water running down the curb. So, to keep my left wheels partially dry, I was jumping it. Also, although the party line is to go way outside at the turn to "pit in", I've found that being in the middle works best for me (in the video above, I was still following party doctrine )

Hello, fellow Barber event participants!

I signed up for the HPDE 1 class. It's my first HPDE and my first NASA event. I'll try to stay out of everyone's way - this time.

Next time it's every man (or woman) for himself (or herself).

I think I understand what I'm trying to say.

My name's Larry. Anybody that has ever owned a German car will recognize 'gummifluge' as a window seal lubricant/treatment that's sold by the dealers.

I've been known to lubricate window seals occasionally (been in the autoglass biz all my life) so the name fits.

Anyway, I'll see some of you guys & girls there. Some more than others.

Tip: If you ride with Lemming, wear loose pants.
