At the higher HP tracks (long straights) you'll have your hands full, but it's doable. I actually think that it's better to start off with less power - trade that for reliability. When you start racing, the last thing you want to worry about is a finicky engine. It's better to concentrate on the actual racing rather than if your engine is going to grenade itself. I have to agree w/Bryan - I used to use HP to compensate for my poor driving ability, but I have learned a lot this past year on a momentum car, hopefully my driving ability has improved!
