'Stock to year' convertible reinforcements

While building my car I decided to use factory stock -- actually reproductions of factory stock as you can't buy new anymore -- convertible inner rocker sills, torque boxes and floors on my fastback. All the pieces are stamped as original or nearly so.

Almost every 65 Mustang I see raced anymore has the convertible torque boxes. I just went one more step with some additional factory reinforcements.

Reading through some of the comments here (especially the stock car to AI conversion) I'm beginning to question everything I did in my quest for a legal 65 Mustang 2+2 AI car.

[edit] Are there any issues with adding the same year convertible reinforcements to a non-convertible car?

Bill-

Shouldn't be an issue as long as you're adding and not slicing and dicing. Feel free to fire off pictures and we can discuss at length offline.

Thanks.
