MOMO Daytona Seat

Recommended Posts

With a kid due any day know I have been inspecting my safety equipment. I have decided on upgrading the protection provided by my seat and am planning on buying the MOMO Daytona seat this week. I am not sure if I need the XL version. Does any one have one? I am 5' 9" with a 34" waist and like the take long....wrong website.. The height and waist are correct. Before a pluck down 800 on an non returnable seat I just want to know the real demensions on the seat. The charts on websites are meaningless.

I would like to know the height from the seat bottom to the ear flaps as well.

any help would be great.

Think about a Butler Bilt seat. They are 500/600 and are sized to fit your body. You can be sure it will fit after you take your measurements and send them in. It provides a halo and shoulder support for lateral support in side impact crashes. It locks you into the car so you can feel the car.

Todd,

You need to sit in a seat to be sure. I sat in a few momo seats and did not like how they fit. Then I sat in a Spraco Pro2000 and loved it. I am 5'7" and 155 lbs it was not an issue of size so much as fit. Numbers and measurments can't determine that stuff.

Agree, different seats fit differently - different pressure points, etc. This is an aea that you really need to find a race shop or a few friend's seats to try out.
