cullen winter Posted March 7, 2008 Posted March 7, 2008 New question....I'm noticing that a lot of drivers have their cars slammed pretty low, but haven't seen any mention of messing up the roll center by lowering too much. Is that because of the torsion bar rear end, or springs stiff enough to compensate for the extra body roll ? I though i understood that the problem with lowering a mac-strut suspension too much, that while the CG is lower, the roll center goes up. Where am I off on this ? Thanks Quote
944-Spec#94 Posted March 10, 2008 Posted March 10, 2008 I fully understand what you mention, but it seems to be that we can lower the cars quite a bit and not suffer and issues like that. However it may just be luck that we have found the sweet spot balance between lowering the CG and not fouling up the roll center too much. Quote
