Look's like H4 had a great race. Congrats on the win Jimmy, well desereved & a great drive!

Chris, are you going to the drive the rest of the year?

Chris, are you going to the drive the rest of the year?

I will try. I plan to be there next month. I have one or two schedule conflicts to work out this year, but I think I can make most of them. The 41 is going to get some saftey updates before next event, and I will also finally complete the obd0-obd1 swap.

It was fun to be out there again with you guys. The tranny developed a leak during the race on Sat so I couldn't race Sunday. Either way, great battle William.

Looks like a fun track! You mean there are tracks with green grass...lol

Hey shouldn't there be a new track record for H2 since this is the first time there has been a H2 car in NorCal?

I just saw this in the CCR

21.7 Lap Record

A lap record will only become official when the NASA office publishes it with as the

“Official Lap Record.” A lap record will only be valid when set during a race. A lap

record set with a vehicle that has been found illegal in impound for that race, will not

stand.

So I'm guessing I can just take the fastest lap from saturday and sundays race from H2 and that would be the new record correct?

So I'm thinking the current record is.

H2 William Downey B16A Civic 2:09.272 Mar 8, 2008

Would this be correct?

Also I see Mike Lock ran a 1:59.751 and that would beat Andrie's old record of 1:59.833 correct?

I really want to try and keep these up to date on the website.

correct mike those two are new track records.

I'm sure the NASA guys would be happy to have you keeping track of that Mike.

The site's looking great.

hey john,

I know, like the rest of use, it is struggle to make it to the track, but when/if you do would you mind trying to get the SoCal guys to fill this stuff out?

Ill send you some money for printing out the forms and having them fill them out, and then mailing them back to me....?

Ill PM you my email address.

I really think it is important for the whole of WC, for each region to be represented strongly.

Thanks John

Yeah Jimmy having all the Socal guys profiles would be great.

Jimmy – Just send me the form as a Word or PDF file. I'll get it printed at the college where I teach.

I'll try to get driver photos at Cal Speedway, too.

great driving jimmy. thanks for sharing the video's.

anyone else have in-car?

i'm going to post devin's and my dad's from sat and sun, and mine from saturday this weekend.

Hey Graham PM me your phone number so I can give ya a call about those wheels if you still want to sell them.

Nice video Jimmy. You looked pretty quick. That track looks totally insane. I really wish we had an elevation change or 2 on any of our tracks here, but apparently that's too much to ask for. Instead, I just get to be terrified when I go out to CA and have no idea what I'm doing when I get to not-flat sections. I can run a few inches off of concrete at 100+ all day, but put me on a hill and I'm suddenly like a noob DE2 driver.

Scott, you guys should pick an event at Thunderhill next year and make the trip. It's a fantastic track. Very smooth. Lots of fun.

the backwards weekends are going to be a blast!!

thanks graham!!

Thanks scott!! Funny walls aren't my friend but elevation changes are second nature, hell it doesn't even matter if the car gets all 4 wheels off the ground . Put me around a wall, and a corner and you will see me lifting!
