Fuel jug caps. Would NASA-Admin please reply.

Wanted to know if a normal 5 gallon fuel jug used for enduros as per the rules, does the cap need to be original? Ask this because I've come up with a way to make the fuel flow better than most caps available. I've sold some and would like to make more for everyone to use but don't want to do it without the NASA approval. PCA and other organizations rules also only permit the 5 gallon jugs but not sure of what caps can be utilized.

See section 8.12.2 of the NASA Enduro rules. Read the rules, then if it's still not clear contact the appropriate NASA official directly for a ruling. Contact info is listed on the national and regional websites.

I had contacted Greg G. and he told me to contact national but how do you do it without phoning them? Do they not read the forums or answer questions addressed to them?

Yes, NASA officials read the Forums, but we cannot read every section everyday. Most of us get hours of e-mails to answer daily because it is the easiest way to directly contact us.
