Tom A Posted June 7, 2008 Posted June 7, 2008 Interested in the GTI - Looking for a learner mobile to run in ITB club racing and FSP autocross. Can you get me pics of the cage to see if it would be legal to run in ITB. looks like exactly what I [email protected] I know that car pretty well, raced against it many times. It is a solid car. IIRC the cage design should be OK for IT, but because it doesn't have a SCCA logbook, the bigger question is the material, ERW vs DOM. Starting in 2003 SCCA will not issue a log book for an ERW cage. Dave, do you remember what the cage is made of? Quote
Dave Bongiovanni Posted June 10, 2008 Author Posted June 10, 2008 It should be a DOM cage. Tom A still has the logbook...it should say in it. Otherwise, we can just take off some paint and check for sure. Quote
