kingkyle Posted March 24, 2008 Posted March 24, 2008 I read in the rules that every vehicle must retain the OEM front clip. I just built an rx7 race car for ST1 and it has a Chevy LS3 in it. Is this legal? Thanks, Kyle Quote

Front fascias, fenders, and hoods can all be modified for aero, tire clearance, cooling purposes, etc. Crossmembers can be cut or replaced with tubular crossmembers, but one must be careful not to cross the line of building a tube-frame conversion where the suspension is now supported entirely and relocated by a newly built tube frame. Motor swaps are permitted. Quote
