Oyishdog
Looking to upgrade to an enclosed trailer, but need to sell the current one first if there is interest. Specs: 2005 Kraftsman 18' deck w/ beaver tail (steel trailer) open middle deck dual 3500# axles brakes on both axles break-a-way kit with good battery removable drivers side fender spare tire (tires are upgrade and are 225 wide, most new trailers today come with 205 wide tires) 5 foot ramps 5000# tongue jack (new) Kobalt aluminum tool box on front Great trailer - I keep it maintained and spray paint any chips after each use so it does not rust. It is also light weight with the open middle section of the deck (also good to hold extra wheels). I have pulled this with both a Dakota and Tahoe without any issues. Looking to get $1800 for it. one note, the weight distributing hitch is not included either is the ball/hitch lock.
laze1
Questions: How wide is this trailer between the fenders and total width at the wheels? What car did you carry on it? ( I need to haul a fat/wide Nissan 350Z) Since the weight distributing hitch is not included, the trailer will come with the pictiured Basic hitch coupling? Thnx! Oyishdog
Not 100% sure on the width, but 82 inches rings a bell (102 overall width). I tow a Corvette c5 on this with plenty of room on both sides. You should be fine with a 350z. The only thing linked to the weight dist hitch are the angled brakets mounted on the frame between the hitch receiver and the tool box. The coupler is a standard 2 5/16" ball size. hihosilver
Trailer still available? If so, how much does it weigh? thanks, Chuck
Oyishdog
Still available. Not sure on weight. The tag only shows GVW at 7000#. The manufacturer claimed around 1350, but I would say 1500 based on the build. The open center really does cut down on weight. I also just put a fresh coat of paint on it two weekends ago. Looks great! Trailer still available? If so, how much does it weigh? thanks, Chuck

jbm53
Hi, Is this trailer in Charlotte still for sale? If so, is the deck 18 feet long or the overall 18 feet (want to know if it will fit in my garage). Thanks, jbm53
