Top Notch Posted August 12, 2008 Author Posted August 12, 2008 My girlfriends dad has one and looking to get rid of it. Trying to find some info on them. Like if there is a class you can run them in. Specs. etc. He bought it found out that he didn't feel safe in it. Parked it and moved on to Porsche cup cars. Now he needs to make room in his shop. Quote
cvette Posted August 12, 2008 Posted August 12, 2008 You can check out www.gt1da.com and www.gt-racecars.com for information and the classifieds related to TA cars. The majority of TA cars currently race in the GT1 class with SCCA. Matt Quote
King Matt Posted August 12, 2008 Posted August 12, 2008 There were 18 GT-1 cars up at the SCCA National at Road America a couple of weeks ago--ex-Roush Mustangs, Corvettes, Camaros, etc. Pretty cool watching them run 2:09s up there (compared to the AI lap record of 2:33 and 2:31 for A Sedan). Woomah! Quote
Top Notch Posted August 13, 2008 Author Posted August 13, 2008 Here's some pics of the car. He said it was a 1995. Built for the Trans Am Racing series. Buick V6 14.5:1 Compression Ratio. Derhaag Body. Some how has a to Joe Gibbs. http://s47.photobucket.com/albums/f194/carolinaclean/ Quote
Holster Maker Posted August 13, 2008 Posted August 13, 2008 Looks like it would be SU (super unlimited) with NASA. Quote
Keith Posted August 13, 2008 Posted August 13, 2008 Looks like it would be SU (super unlimited) with NASA. Yep. Tell him to bring it out to run SU - I'd love to drool over it. Quote
