Special Congratulations to Brad Waite on a strong drive and his First Win in GTS2 on Sunday!

Once again, GTS comaraderie is amazing. Word spread that I needed an alternator and Gregg Lewis makes one appear. Thanks Gregg, kept me in the battle!

GTS thanks to Perenial Ohio Porsche specialists, the team at Steinel's Autowerks deserve much accolades. They have built a great reputation for searching out and repairing problems on trackside Porsche race cars at Mid Ohio. They don't have to be there and Eric and the guys tack these hours atop their regular work week. Say hello and thanks for being there when you see them and think of them in the off season when your P-car needs the new season going over!

Thanks for the kind words Carl. It does feel good to get my first win, espcially knowing the strength of the competition we have in the class. I saw you back there the entire race and just kept telling myself not to make a mistake. Great racing with you and all the GTS guys.

Brad, great job with yesterday's win, and I join Carl in saying "thanks" to the Steinel's guys. I haven't seen final results for the race, but by my count, Steinel's helped at least three Porsches to the GTS podium yesterday.

And while it pains me to say anything nice about or to the Bavarian guys (ok, just kidding), congrats to Sean and Scott on their two GTS-3 wins this weekend. Too bad we don't do a hard charger award, because Scott had that one hands down on Saturday, and it was great to see the red 88 win on a Sunday in August...

Thanks too to Mark Barr for a seamless GTS event - and good to see him turning some fast laps - and to Dave, Linda and all of the NASA staff and volunteers for another fun weekend. Nice job on the weather, too!

Great to see everyone again; looking forward to Nationals!

Nice job Brad, is about time you put that car on the top spot.. It seems like everytime I saw the Steinel guys they were hard at work on one of the Porsches. Those guys work way too hard...

Saturdays race was definetly a challenge for me. I will say it was kinda of fun, but given the choice I'd rather start closer to the front. Thanks to all the guys that gave me a little room and I also apologize to anyone I pinched or screwed up their corner. I do have some good video and will get it posted as soon as possible.

Sundays race started a lot better for me as I didnt have to look past 30 cars to see the green flag.... It was going quite well until I got pinched to the grass in the kink and hit that big bump. Once again I apologize to everyone for all the debris that was left in the kink.

A Big thanks goes to my great friend Sean T. for not pushing me out of the way as the handling (and the motor) was going away towards the end of the race. It took everything I had to keep my car on track. I owe him one(more like 3 or 4) big time. It's quite a challenge to get my car to turn with no front bumper or splitter and I'm sure at times he was wondering where I was going. I know I was...

Also a BIG thanks to the race director/race control for not black flagging me when the parts were still kinda attached to my car, I really wanted to finish that race.

Thanks to Mark Barr for all the crap he puts up with and like Sacha said it was great tto see you out there racing and finishing !!!!

Thanks to all the NASA staff, once again they put on an excellent event and everything ran smooooth.

It was great to be out there on track with everyone again. The view is much better from the driver seat. Now if i can only learn to drive again!

Congrats to Brad on his win number 1 and the rest of the weekends winners.

A special thank you to the entire GTS field. We didn't have one full course yellow all weekend, and I'm not aware of any metal to metal involving GTS racers.

Great Job!

What happenend to all the video we used to see at

www.scottberkowitz.com ?

I think he's spent all his free time wrenching seeing as how we've seen no video, less forum banter, and a whole darn pile of race wins. Shouldn't be any less the case after last weekend.

What a weekend. It was my Noobie/Rookie weekend (racing and Mid-O) and I appreciate all your patience with the white 911 #008. Hope I was not too much of a chicane. The back side of the circuit is a challenge for the stock gearing in the 915 box for sure. I am still giggly about the whole weekend. Hard to focus on work and can't wait for the next race.

Home region is NE but this my my first NASA exposure, you guys put the 'great' in Great Lakes. Thanks Dave, Lynda and Mark!

COOL - Glad you had a GREAT time. Sorry I didn't get a chance to meet you in the paddock, I had my hands pretty full over the weekend. Haven't had anyone "dislike" Mid Ohio yet. We are all lucky to have such a demanding track, but nice facility right in our back yard.

Congrats on a successful rookie weekend man!

Hey Guys!

Fantastic weekend. Great to see everyone again and running well.

Our thanks to Steinel's Autowerks as well. They helped us in a pinch Saturday night to diagnose and help repair our ignition / overheating issue and it was most appreciated. Thank you Carl for your offer of parts as well.

Looking forward to Nationals

Congratulations to Brad from here, too. A first win that's long overdue. Except he's starting to get a little too fast for comfort....

Also, thanks from me to the Steinel's guys. Friday afternoon I developed a hole in my header. With a family event in Columbus, I left the track early. Eric and the boys sneaked into the garage in the wee hours, pulled the header, patched and welded the hole, reinstalled it, and still got a few hours' sleep out of the deal. MUCH appreciated.
