YOU ALL HAVE KNOW IDEA WHAT THAT MEANT TO ME AFTER WHAT IT TOOK FOR ME TO BE THERE. MARK why didn't you tell us what was up when we were sitting there after the tent was blowing apart after our race. That was a $9000 piece of glass or plastic. Actually, he did. I was probably the first one to leave from the impound area and Mark told me and everybody else that we were all to meet up in garages 24 and 25 in a few minutes. As things turned out, it was actually more like garage 17...whatever is right in front of the podium...and that's where the (wind-limited) festivities were. Quote
bmw22 Posted September 18, 2008 Posted September 18, 2008 MARK why didn't you tell us what was up when we were sitting there after the tent was blowing apart after our race. That was a $9000 piece of glass or plastic. After the race, I was focused on making sure I got top three from all classes to impound. Once at impound I was met with the fact that power was out and we needed to get out of there as the tent was blowing apart. While at the same time dealing with three upset drivers, including own who's car was totaled. I only was able to tella few that we would meet in Garages 24-25 in a little while, because we had to sort thru some issues before makeing results final, and I know those garages were empty and would be a safe place top meet. After we finalized results, I drove all around the place looking for all podium finishers, and you and a couple others were no where to be found. My apologies for your missing the podium, but I (and others) did what we could under very unusual circumstances. Mark Quote

This was my first and maybe only opportunity to race at a National and with all the BS back in Texas it would have been nice to stand on the podium. Quote
