Rules observation/suggestion/musing

This came up recently on another forum....the part about the 4hp forgiveness. It seems as though it would make more sense to allow a percentage difference since 4hp to someone with 125RWHP is quite a bit compared to someone with 400RWHP. Is there something I'm missing here?

Just an observation and since my car currently only makes 169RWHP it's certainly a better number for me than if I did have 400RWHP. ; ) Perhaps an improvement would be something like 2-3% of certified RWHP or required HP+T.

I wholeheartedly agree with you on this, Jack! With your 169 RWHP, you are significantly higher than my 166.1 RWHP! It's pretty much an unfair advantage as I see it.

I feel that driving skills should be able to make up for that 2.9hp.
