ajcjr
I saw some pictures from a NASA race onanother site and it looked at as if the thunders were in an ST class. Anyone have any experience with them, are they easier to maintain and run compared to a car? Thanks
mbuskuhl
Thunder Roadsters (TR) are classified in the NASA rules as Performance Touring A (PTA) cars. That does not mean though you couldn't run them ST. There are two TR cars that have raced frequently in TX. Depending on region, PTA cars may run in the ST group. TR would not be competitive in ST though, at least from the two I've seen.
kbrew8991
PTA if they run under the INEX (or whatever) rules for the TR class if you modify it at all - ST or SU
philstireservice
There is a new version of the Thunder Roadster and I believe it is classed in ST2.
