Dainbramage
Started life as a 16ft 2003 Carson... now it's a 16ft Dainbramage . Dual 3500lb axles Electric brakes on 1 axle Takes a 2" ball 2 locking toolboxes Tire rack with lock (fits 4 205/50/15s very nicely) Tire stop measured perfectly for a Miata (89.2" wheelbase) Brand new pressure treated lumber with Behr stain Painted with Rustoleum oil based enamel for durability and rust resistance Brand new lighting and complete trailer re-wire Tires in great condition with a (locked down) spare wheel and tire Heavy duty (but not too heavy) ramps with locks so no one will walk away with them #001 Loaded my Spec Miata without rubbing every time, and the doors open over the fender with no problem. ALOT of time was spent making this trailer basicly new and alot better looking than even the new ones. There is not a single scratch on this trailer. I treated it like a showpiece because in my mind it is. Located in Tyler, Tx $1850 Edited January 17, 2009 by Guest

skrzastek
where did you get the tire rack?
Dainbramage
It was on the trailer when I bought it. I've considered copying this one and building them to sell, but I'm not sure how much they would sell for.
SirCharles
How much does it weight?
Dainbramage
I've never actually weighed it, but I would guess around the 1500# range.
bossman429
Man how is this not sold already??? I've bought and sold many trailers for 2,000 that were no where near as nice as this one. Great trailer. If I didn't already have one I'd be all over it. Infact, I think I'll be using yours as a model for fixing mine up!
Dainbramage
Man how is this not sold already??? Kind of what I was thinking. I will have this trailer for sale at the March 14th and 15th race at MSR Cresson.

I will have this trailer for sale at the March 14th and 15th race at MSR Cresson. I would love to have it, especially since I am in Texas. I just dont think 16' will cut it for my Honda Prelude. Dainbramage
I've pulled a DC2 Type R on it with no problems (back end hung off a little) with the boxes and rack on, and I fit a 96 Z71 extended cab pickup truck on it a month ago. I did have to take off the tool boxes and tire rack to make it fit on that one though.
kbrew8991
I'll check it out at Cresson the two big things for me is: 1.) will the tire rack fit 2-205s and 2-225s 2.) how tight is a 94.5" wheelbase MR2 on it probably looking to buy around April though - so no worries if you sold it sooner... Dainbramage
You're more than welcome to load the car up on it and try the tires out. I can tell you that 4 205s is a very tight fit, the only reason I put the chain/lock through them is so no one has the temptation to try to steal them. Dainbramage
Plans have changed. I will not be at the Cresson event on the 14th and 15th. I am running a normal track day at TWS on the 21st and 22nd. I would consider making a trip over to the Cresson event empty if someone was serious about taking delivery that day. edison_GTI
I saw the trailer yesterday at TWS. I was looking for you but I couldn't find you. It looks really good, I just saw the new price and I'll talk to the wife when I get home.
Dainbramage
I don't remember seeing your car out there. Were you in the VW? I was in the 2nd RV coming off the track on the left with the red #78 Miata sitting in front of it. BTW.... that's my new favorite track! Turn 7 is an absolute blast! edison_GTI
Kermit wasn't there, my wife was driving the white VW Jetta TDI. I still need to talk to the wife about the trailer.
vansprinkle
BTW.... that's my new favorite track! Turn 7 is an absolute blast! 7 is great both directions, but best CCW. just wait till you run the track CW!

ScottH560
I wish this trailer was on this side of the Mississippi River closer to my home. It would be perfect for my needs.
Dainbramage
I'm a little confused as to why no one has jumped on this. Is the color scheme too personal?
kbrew8991
its one of the two that I would be interested, but I need a truck first and keep getting sidetracked with stuff like NASA Nats registration (nearly $2k, ugh) and stuff like that if I don't have a full rig soon I suck

Dainbramage
Take care of it Gale! I never knew how attached I was to it until I saw you driving away with it! I was thinking "Hey, that's my trailer!" Haha
