Im building this car with my grandfather for high performance, all-out race and money is not too much of an issue. We want the higher performance of the AI/AIX series

Well best of luck with your build. You should have fun either way. The AI/AIX series offers some very serious competition on a national level. Perhaps go to the national finals to check out the field. There is a lot of info to be had talking to the guys that come to Mid-Ohio in september.

I just joined today and hope to do the Lime Rock HPDEs at a bare minimum this year. I am new to the sport, having done about 10 autocrosses last season with CART. I'll probably be running the Evo Phases 1 & 2 Driving School in Boston May 9th and 10th. At my 60k mile service in December I ditched my manual boost controller so now I'm out of BSP and into STU (ST1 here, I believe).

My car (as it will sit by April):

2004 Mitsubishi Evo 8

Ohlins DFV coilovers

Hawk HPS pads, ATE Super Blue Fluid

245/40/17 Dunlop Direzza Z1 Star Specs

HKS intake (from the prior owner)

Schroth Rallye 4 harness (autoX only)

All fresh fluids from my 60k mile service (tranny, diffs, transfer case)

Todd H.... something.

Hi Guys and Gals,

I will be racing AI this year with my Black w/Yellow Stripes 1989 Mustang LX (number 93). My first event will be VIR in March since there are a bunch of AI cars from other regions attending that event. I will be racing at the NE events until June. I am expecting my first child at that time, so the rest of the season is an unknown.

Can't wait to meet and see other car fanatics this year!
