jmeris Posted January 31, 2009 Posted January 31, 2009 Are you sure the B17 is supposed to be at 2350lbs.?! Quote
AustinG Posted January 31, 2009 Posted January 31, 2009 Are you sure the B17 is supposed to be at 2350lbs.?! Little heavy, but the Type-R/CTR cams should help...it's actually right about where I thought that it would be, 2300-2350 was my guess. Quote
National Staff Jeremy C. Posted January 31, 2009 Author National Staff Posted January 31, 2009 Are you sure the B17 is supposed to be at 2350lbs.?! Yep! The CTR cams should help that motor breath much better than it did from the factory. Weight is right about what it should be. It could be a "little" heavy, but rules always try to error on the side of conservative. Plus the engine is rare, so that's another reason to not give it any leg up to start with! Should be a good option for people that want to use something they already have in their car which is really what the rule was meant to accomplish. Quote
jmeris Posted January 31, 2009 Posted January 31, 2009 Can you guess which engine I'm gonna run? Should be a good option for people that want to use something they already have in their car which is really what the rule was meant to accomplish. Thanks to the rules committee for approving this rule request in a timely manner. Quote
