cosmo70 Posted February 2, 2009 Posted February 2, 2009 Im trying to find a date on a race course for my birthday, would like to be on a course, however can someone help me out, please. I looked on the registration site and nothing matches up, several years ago like (15, 20 years) groups got on tracks or rented the tracks out. Do people still do this and where can I find the information? Anywhere in the USA, doesn't matter, I can get on a plane. Quote
schwank Posted February 2, 2009 Posted February 2, 2009 82 posts on NASAforums.com and you don't know how to find a DE? I assume you are talking about with your own car? Look up any of the local clubs... Audi, Porsche, BMW, Corvette, Alfa, whatever. Almost all of them host DE days at local tracks. You definitely won't have to leave Cali. Quote

I can account for 24 posts in one thread and that is due to the Southeast's 944 spec director Mr. MCMmotorsports, him and his trivia questions. Plus, wise cracking and sometimes stupid comments. I have time on my hands, I'm semi-retired and hell why not. I haven't been active for quite sometime on a racetrack or racing, I'm new to NASA. Quote
Cheap_Thrills Posted February 3, 2009 Posted February 3, 2009 When's you birthday? Did you try www.MotorsportReg.com ? Quote
Tim Comeau Posted February 3, 2009 Posted February 3, 2009 Gee,........too bad there's no one in SoCal who rents the cars that are the REAL subject of this forum. I've heard there's a guy named Tim Comeau who rents out 944 Spec cars. His website is www.comeauracing.com. He can bring a 944 Spec car to any SoCal track...I think. I might be wrong. As far as finding a date on a race track....there just aren't too many women that come to the events that aren't already spoken for. When's your birthday? Quote

When's your birthday? I'm been married for too long, so going to track to pick up women, not going to happend. April 8, 19when dirt was new. Quote
cosmo70 Posted February 3, 2009 Author Posted February 3, 2009 I know My granddaughter's birthday is April 11, I figured combine the two on the track and have some fun. She's over 20, I thought it would be fun, hence birthday present (s). She loves motorcycles, owns a BMW (R1200GS), however, she wanted the Ducati 1198. Her GPA wasn't good enough for that Italian demon. Quote
