Insuring your race car...

First of all, yes I do work for a very large insurance agency and yes I believe we do have access to one or two programs for this. However, just to be prudent I thought I would throw this question out there to the masses as there may be a better dealout there... who do you use to insure your race car for on-track competition coverage? I hear there are multiple programs out there ranging from buying coverage at agreed value in 30 day blocks (my friend does this for his Porsche Cup car-$155,000 value, 10% deductible, 30 days coverage is $9,500 per year) to buying coverage at agreed value on a fee per day basis (I think K&K Insruance writes this type). The car I will be in is worth $25,000 and I will only need to coverage for 8-10 days in '09.

Anyone have advice or recommendations? Also, if we can put a program together here at BB&T for the south east I will let you know the details.

Thanks!

I'm currently in the market for some on-track insurance.

There was a thread started in the MW and GL section asking a bunch of questions like these. Check it out; it should have a lot of the insight you're seeking.
