Need to Dyno every year

Yes, there was discussion - it was decided that a new dyno is required every year (but you can work with your Regional GTS Director to see if he'll let you slide ).

Speaking for Great Lakes, he won't.

I believe there was a change though that now the dyno runs are good for 12 months, as opposed to needing to be done on a calendar basis. For example, if you got dyno'ed in June of 2008 you could still race this year on the old dyno until June of 2009.

Yep, from Section 5 (para. 4) of the rules:

 

Competitors must produce a dynamometer certification from the last 12 months and dynamometer certification form upon demand and should keep copies of both with their vehicle logbook.
