944-Spec#94 Posted October 28, 2004 Posted October 28, 2004 Welcome to Jackie Corwin of Vista, Ca. Jackie is a PCA memeber and our newest driver and will be driving a 1985 944 that is soon to be blue. Car number 55. On a side note... Please send me any new information or pictures for the driver listing. We are now at a grand total of 64 car numbers issued. Those of you who are on the fence it is time to jump in while there are number still left. Those who have not raced yet it is time to get the car out running. Those who have running cars... Lets RACE Quote
Tim Comeau Posted October 29, 2004 Posted October 29, 2004 It's great to have our first female driver. Jackie has been AX'ing for a while now. Hope she gets race licensed soon. Quote
PeanutinCA Posted October 29, 2004 Posted October 29, 2004 And just think Tim, if Jackie ever forgets her race suit, you could lend her yours! Welcome Miss Jackie, look forward to you kicking my butt in the future. P.Dilly. Quote
Spec-944#70 Posted October 29, 2004 Posted October 29, 2004 Welcome Jackie and we ALL look forward to you kicking Dilly's butt!! He's just bitter. He can't race because he can't get permission. Besides "D" you can always punt!! Maybe then she won't beat you!! (Just kidding mate!!) ((You know I luv ya)) See we're all just one big happy disfunctional family with Tim as our Mom!! Quote
Tim Comeau Posted October 29, 2004 Posted October 29, 2004 I didn't raise you boys to like wearing........ah, forget it. I'll be the bad guy if it helps grow the class and keep it on the right track. Quote
PeanutinCA Posted October 30, 2004 Posted October 30, 2004 For Jackie who may not understand my joke? Timmy wears a ladies suit and a nice one at that. So, if you ever forget yours, Tim can help you out! P.Dilly. Quote
Tim Comeau Posted October 30, 2004 Posted October 30, 2004 Dang.............That's why it's so big in the chest......... I just figured that out. Really........ Quote
DanElam Posted October 31, 2004 Posted October 31, 2004 While I am certainly glad to see Jackie joining the ranks of 944Cup, I'll politely point out that my wife Bobbie moved from spec RX-7 to 944Cup in August. If we can ever get the Porsche home it too will be painted pink! Quote
Tim Comeau Posted October 31, 2004 Posted October 31, 2004 How in the hell does she heel and toe in THOSE heels?! The pink is pretty cool though. I encourage our drivers to present cars with wild colors and graphics. The bolder, the better. By the way, We are 944-spec out here on the West Coast. 944 Cup is on the East Coast. We're not any better, just a little different flavor. There is also a group called Spec-944 in the Phoenix area. They're good people too. Pretty soon the 944 racing concept will be big enough to have a National event. Quote
PeanutinCA Posted October 31, 2004 Posted October 31, 2004 I almost had a bet going to paint my car pink back in the day. I just didn't have the ba... well, you know what. It helps being a lovely lady like above to drive pink! And yeah, are those shoes fire rated? Maybe I could get my wife to the track with race fashions like that! P.Dilly. Quote
Jackie Corwin Posted November 1, 2004 Posted November 1, 2004 Hey Guys, I can handle the humor, bring it on! Prior to racing Porsches, I was a skydiving instructor so am used to existing in a man's forum. Hopefully, I will earn respect through my driving. I'm working on seat time. Just finished getting my instructor rating with PCA and have a comp permit. By the way, it WILL be a chick car... blue with airbrushed white clouds. I know Tim Comeau and could easily fit in his suit, it's the shoes I will never be able to fill however! See you in '05. Blue skies, Jackie Quote
Trevor Myrus Posted November 1, 2004 Posted November 1, 2004 Welcome Jackie. Trevor Myrus 1988 Porsche 944 #04 Quote
PeanutinCA Posted November 1, 2004 Posted November 1, 2004 I know Tim Comeau and could easily fit in his suit, it's the shoes I will never be able to fill however! Please don't stroke Tim's ego anymore than it already is, sheesh. We will never hear the end of it! Quote
Spec-944#70 Posted November 1, 2004 Posted November 1, 2004 Jackie it's quite easy to fill TC's shoes!! You just have to use the right stuff!! Quote
PeanutinCA Posted November 1, 2004 Posted November 1, 2004 Jackie it's quite easy to fill TC's shoes!! You just have to use the right stuff!! I hear cement work well, in combination with a 10 gallon bucket. Quote
Tim Comeau Posted November 1, 2004 Posted November 1, 2004 (edited) DOH! See........I get no respek! You boys are getting ornery.....must be time to race again. Trevor, How the hell are you? Good to hear from you again. You keepin' those knuckleheads in line out there in PHX? They still don't know you were planted there to keep an eye on them...... How's the car's tranny? mfoley Posted November 1, 2004 Posted November 1, 2004 Welcome Jackie. I don't know if you remember me but we went through the PCA school in the Qualcomm parking lot together a couple of years ago. I was driving my black Turbo then and Jad talked me into getting an NA, and the rest is history. Hope to see you at the track soon. Quote
Jackie Corwin Posted November 1, 2004 Posted November 1, 2004 Since Tim is the "mom" for this class.....ya know what they say? "If Momma ain't happy, ain't nobody happy" Jackie Quote
Spec-944#70 Posted November 1, 2004 Posted November 1, 2004 "Mom" may be the wrong choice of titles as I've NEVE seen my Mom in a THONG!! It's scary it really is!! Quote
Jackie Corwin Posted November 1, 2004 Posted November 1, 2004 Eric, He can't escape that one on ANY level, can he? Jackie Quote
Tim Comeau Posted November 2, 2004 Posted November 2, 2004 I've given up on those 2, Jackie. If it ain't thongs, it's grease, or it's women's underwear. When we share hotel rooms, I go to sleep on my back!! Quote
Spec-944#70 Posted November 2, 2004 Posted November 2, 2004 And that's what bothers us!! Just next time put on some clothes!! What we lack in driver skill we make up for in humor!! Quote
Tim Comeau Posted November 2, 2004 Posted November 2, 2004 Isn't that asking alot of your sense of humor??? OHHHHHHHHH! Lookin' forward to dishin' out some shame........ Quote
