BOC- Beau Posted March 19, 2009 Posted March 19, 2009 15 AI 3 AIX 4 CMC 11 CMC2 33 pony cars (mostly Mustangs) are on the entry list to race next weekend at VIR. I expect we may even pick up a few more. Quote
Red Tornado Posted March 20, 2009 Posted March 20, 2009 Now the key is what do we ask for related to a split start? Do you take the four groups and run them together or ask for AI and CMC to go seperate? Man this should be a big time! Quote
robbodleimages Posted March 20, 2009 Posted March 20, 2009 Time to start doing your good weather dance. Don't look at the forecast... .... Trust me. Just start working your magic. Quote
Members Ed M. Posted March 20, 2009 Members Posted March 20, 2009 Also (putting on Director hat...), don't forget to bring a copy of your 2009 dyno sheet for the regional director. Remember, this still is also considered a regional event and some of the racers might not be running for the AIECSC so we need to respect that. Thanks and good luck to all. Looks like it's really shaping up to be a fun time. I won't be racing (wwwaaaaaaaaaaa... ) but plan on coming up to meet and join in the social fun!!! Peace out, Ed PS - they're might be another surprise AIX'er coming.............. Quote
Aaron B Posted March 20, 2009 Posted March 20, 2009 14 AI- my car will not be ready - I signed up a while ago but was a bit optimistic and will not have all the right stuff to compete Aaron Quote
rtunney Posted March 20, 2009 Posted March 20, 2009 I'm with Chris. I vote AI and CMC go seperate! The start would make a great Cover shot for "Grassroots Motorsports" Quote
Red Tornado Posted March 21, 2009 Posted March 21, 2009 That what I was thinking. John , any chance you can get some shots going for GRM coverage?? Quote
swhiteh3 Posted March 22, 2009 Posted March 22, 2009 I've sold my AIX motor and have committed to building a new AI motor, so it will be a little longer before I'm ready to roll the car out for it's maiden voyage with the nearly-all-new chassis. But I'll try to make it up there to hang out, and help whoever needs it. Quote

Red Tornado Posted March 23, 2009 Posted March 23, 2009 Have faith. We are nearly a week away and weather folks are never right. Quote
ST#97 Posted March 23, 2009 Posted March 23, 2009 Have faith. We are nearly a week away and weather folks are never right. If only the weather guys could give you a prediction on the new R888's... I can! Quote
ST#97 Posted March 23, 2009 Posted March 23, 2009 and? the prediction is? take a dump and don't eat before the races! The rest you will figure out on your own but only about 40% of the shit you read on the web is accurate....if that. We tested with DAQ this last weekend back to back RA1 to R888 and while we are still fully analyzing the data....yes, they suck. Beyond that, data will be sold at $1000 per person! Group discounts will be offered for 3 or more! Quote
