doneracing
$5200.00 This is the last time the car will be advertised. If it doesn't sell in the next couple weeks It will be parted out and hauled to the scrap yard. Save me the time and effort. Buy this race ready car with enough tires/brakes for a season for $5200. The chassis was stripped and seam welded. The roll cage extends from the front shock towers to the rear shock towers and far exceeds the roll cage requirements of any sanctioning body. The car was raced professionally in the SCCA Speed World Challenge from 1999 until 2002. At that time the car was fitted the heavier VR6 motor. The car set in storage until September 2007 when I purchased the car as a roller. The car has taken on new life with a 2003 VW GTI 1.8 turbo installed. The car was freshened with new suspension, bigger brakes and a true limited slip race differential. The car runs in GTS Challenge GTS3 with NASA (could detune to GTS2), ITE in SCCA, EMRA, etc… This car is exactly as it was when I unloaded it from the trailer when I returned from a track day at Beaverun in September 2008. It ran perfect that day, I turned a lap of just under 1:04. I start the car up every 2 or 3 weeks and let it come up to normal operating temperature and then shut it down. As you can see from the pictures, the car could use a little under the hood and cockpit beautification, but it is race ready.(I highly recommend going over the car and give it a good safety check before going on track. Just as you normally should before every event) I also have a 2008 16' dual axle trailer that I will sell to car buyer for $1500. The trailer is perfect, #7000 with electric brakes on all 4 wheels. Less than 5000 miles on the trailer. DO NOT ASK IF I AM SELLING THE TRAILER SEPERATE FROM THE CAR. If the car buyer wants the trailer, the price is $1500. If the car buyer does not want the trailer it will be on eBay after the car is sold. You can see picturess of the trailer at the econotrailer website ET154B-102 $1858.00 15 ft. Runways 21 ft.
