speedshark Posted April 9, 2009 Posted April 9, 2009 I see that it takes 5 races to qualify for nationals. Is this 5 weekends or is one weekend considered 2 races, therefore 3 weekends would qualify you? Thanks for the help.
kbrew8991 Posted April 9, 2009 Posted April 9, 2009 races in the past has meant just that - races (not weekends, not events..) some regions do more than one race each day
ST#97 Posted May 11, 2009 Posted May 11, 2009 some regions do more than one race each day Glad you are LOVIN' Texas! actually, we had 3 races on Sunday last event! Granted we had zero on Saturday but....
National Staff Greg G. Posted May 14, 2009 National Staff Posted May 14, 2009 can it be a combination of TT and PT races? As it says in the Championship Event Regs (5.1): A racer can use up to two TT events as part of the five. But, a racer must have at least three actual wheel-to-wheel races to qualify. Race class competitors must start and score points in five (5) races in a nationally recognized series. Any number of races in any class and any region will qualify as credit. Participation in Time Trial will be limited to a maximum of 2 credits towards race class qualification....
National Staff Greg G. Posted May 17, 2009 National Staff Posted May 17, 2009 Also, note that a racer CANNOT compete in TT unless he/she has met the 5 TT event requirement during the season (regardless of the number of races that have been completed).
