jon dawes Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 (edited) 1996 Mustang Cobra SVT. I am the second owner and have put less than 1,000 miles on this car. The odo is currently at 122,xxx, but I just had the motor rebuilt at Springfield Custom Automotive. The rebuild included, but was not limited to, cleaning up the heads, forged rods/pistons, chromemoly rings, and balancing the crank. The interior of the car is an 8 out of 10. The following is a list of modifications done to the car over the last 13 years, and I have a log showing what was done and when that will be avaiable to potential buyers: Bumpsteer kit Ford Racing springs [i think they are 'C' springs but will verify with previous owner] subframe connectors Tokico Illumia 5 way adjustable dampers Maximum Motorsport caster/camber plates Adjustable clutch quadrant Steeda Tri-Ax shifter FR500 steering wheel 3 point Simpson harnesses Stainless braided brake lines Slotted/drilled rotors Upgraded brake pads [unknown brand] recent 3.73 gears Maximum Motorsports wheel spacers on rear Catless Hpipe Bassani catback exhaust w/3 inch tailpipes Aftermarket lower control arms [i have new bushings for them] Pedal covers [originals included] NEW: Ford Motorsport HD King Cobra clutch Ford Motorsport Billet flywheel Ford Motorsport delrin front control arm bushings Maximum Motorsport center drilled steering rack bushings OEM clutch cable This car was EXTREMELY well cared for. The paint is very good. There is no rust underneath that I can tell. Tires are Yokohama AVS ES 100 and have a decent amount of life in them [they are nowhere near down to the wear bars]. Potentially included in the sale are numerous spare parts, original parts removed from the car, and possibly Autometer gauges, dash pod, new Forza seat, an Autopower bolt-in rollbar, and 5 point harness, among other various parts. This car is an excellent candidate for a CMC2 car or an American Iron car. Located in Northern Virginia. God dang this economy. Edited May 5, 2009 by Guest Quote
