Bryancohnracing Posted May 29, 2009 Posted May 29, 2009 I'm gonna help Dave here with Day Garages: They are nicer than your home shop! You know you want it! Just say YES! Heck, park your car outside and use the Day Garage for a party barn! Best idea EVER!
bpanther Posted June 3, 2009 Author Posted June 3, 2009 Price Reduction For Garages At Miller Motorsports Park June 2, 2009- The National Auto Sport Association is pleased to reduce the price of Day Garages during the National Championship event. “This was done in a move to utilize all the facility has to offer. All the permanent RV spots have already been reserved along with most of the Luxury Grand Prix Garages so we wanted to make certain the remaining Day Garages were put to good use,” commented Event Chairman Dave Balingit. Only 30 Day Garage spaces are unoccupied so we recommend that competitors take advantage of this savings and reserve a garage ASAP. It is important to note that garage occupants are also afforded ample parking space for their tow vehicles adjacent to the garage, which makes the space incredibly convenient. Please review the location of the Day Garages on the following map of the facility http://www.nasaproracing.com/tracks/miller/mmp-parking.pdf To secure a spot please visit https://www.nasaproracing.com/event/953
Stang107 Posted August 27, 2009 Posted August 27, 2009 I'm sure that it's posted somewhere but what is the earliest day/time that I can get into the garage and leave my car?
bpanther Posted August 27, 2009 Author Posted August 27, 2009 I'm sure that it's posted somewhere but what is the earliest day/time that I can get into the garage and leave my car? Tuesday AM.
EJO Posted August 27, 2009 Posted August 27, 2009 I thought they were available starting Monday. viewtopic.php?f=69&t=28152
kbrew8991 Posted August 27, 2009 Posted August 27, 2009 I'd love to get in Monday AM to setup my stuff, hopefully not work on the car but... , etc
bpanther Posted August 28, 2009 Author Posted August 28, 2009 The track will be swarming with motorcycles on Monday and will not be generally available for NASA participants.
National Staff Jeremy C. Posted August 28, 2009 National Staff Posted August 28, 2009 The track will be swarming with motorcycles on Monday and will not be generally available for NASA participants. Towing rig vs bike? I think I know who wins that one! Just plan on unpacking Tues morning ya'll! Maybe you can sneak in on Monday and begin, but it's probably good to wait till the end of the day from the sound of it!
EJO Posted August 28, 2009 Posted August 28, 2009 As long as I can get in to the track late Monday I'll be happy.
kbrew8991 Posted August 28, 2009 Posted August 28, 2009 Monday evening to get setup would be acceptable
bpanther Posted August 28, 2009 Author Posted August 28, 2009 Here's the bottom line. Don't put me up against a wall. I can't take over the paddock until 5PM on Monday when the bike event clears out. I then have to setup a 10+ acre paddock with cones, chalk lines, etc by Tuesday AM. If I am trying to make sure everyone parks in the right place AND setup the paddock, I won't be in bed till 3AM.
EJO Posted August 28, 2009 Posted August 28, 2009 I will be arriving sometime later Monday afternoon. If there is a temporary spot for me to park my rig I would be more than willing to help you set up the paddock area. Erik
kbrew8991 Posted August 28, 2009 Posted August 28, 2009 the garages are already setup - we'll stay out of your way, promise
National Staff Jeremy C. Posted August 28, 2009 National Staff Posted August 28, 2009 That's right! Anyone getting there Monday afternoon needs to help Dave setup! Thanks Dave.
T&A Racing Posted September 6, 2009 Posted September 6, 2009 So what was the final on the when can we get in to the Garages. Tuesday's test and tune has a drivers meeting at 7 or 7:30 am, it would be great if we could have the car already unloaded Monday night. Of course being respectful for all the work that has to happen for the rest of the paddock. Thanks Mark
bpanther Posted September 6, 2009 Author Posted September 6, 2009 Mark, If you are participating in the Tusday school, Miller will do their best to get you in without interferring with the motorcycles racing on Monday.
T&A Racing Posted September 7, 2009 Posted September 7, 2009 Dave, That is great we should be there after 5:00. Thanks Mark
