drivinhardz06
This was on the 'vette forum last month, FWIW "(Danny) Popp pulled off a 1:59.6 today on a green track on really, really old tires, Driving James Forbis's TTS/ST2 car today. I expect his ST1 car will be 1:52's or better if he can get on sticker A's."

DanSTi
Yes, I think stomped is the right word for it. When I first saw his time I thought it was a typo

Cobra4B
Brian G and Popp got into each other at the runoffs last year and knocked each other out allowing Pfadt to win.

RAFTRACER
Thanks for the accolades on the 1:59.6 at VIR full in James Forbis' RAFT ST2/TTS car. There is more, the car was never on new tires that weekend, and the track seemed to be green that weekend due to all of the rain. At least that is what it seemed based on others times that were there in February. Looking real forward to having my ST1/TTU car there in July.......+200 rwhp and - 200 lbs ought to make a slight improvement in time to the ST2/TTS car...
