bpanther Posted May 26, 2009 Share Posted May 26, 2009 NASA Racers took the top three spots at the Spec Miata race at PPIR on May 23rd. Spec Miata was running as a support race to the US Late Model Association in front of a crowd of several thousand spectators. This was the first large spectator event for the newly reopened Pikes Peak International Raceway facility. Jason Ott, Mark Franklin and Bill Tolley battled with a field of 25 Mazdas for the 40 minute race and filled the podium. Other NASA regulars also turning in great top 10 finishes were Paul McLeod, Glenn Saucier, Tommy Boileau and Phil Cummings. Congratulations to all!
