Should be adding Chi Ho to TTC in an S2000. I think he said he registered. He better cause I'm counting on him to pitch in for the hotel.

Black! I'm already registered as an instuctor for both days.

Alex and Brian - Come on!

When is everyone coming to Sebring? I'll be there Friday by dinner and it would be fun to get together that night.

I can pretty much get there at any time on Friday, but you can usually find us in the hotel bar area on both nights.

If you were Ian and you left Ft Lauderdale at 3:30am, you wouldn't get to Sebring until Wednesday...

Brian has registered and is in for TTE, and I have changed him from blue to black. No SM entries yet = you should probably register for TTE!

Let me check on that, and I'll update the list as needed. I just got the latest list, and Joshua wasn't on it, but he's definitely registered and in like Flynn.

If anyone is up for tooling a rent a car around in TTA, I would consider subsidizing the experience.

If Jimmy's car is good to go, then we only need one more.

Mark, any word on Steve Nix?

Things are much more interesting when tires are in play.

What about subsidizing a TTD car to step up to TTA (and take a beating) for a day?
Mark, any word on Steve Nix?
Steve is a maybe right now, depending on how much administrative work he has on Saturday/Sunday. But, if he does run, he will be in TTA.

Chi is currently registered for HPDE-4 and will be evaluated on Saturday for possible advancement to TT on Sunday at the earliest, if all things go well.

There has to be a smart way to solve this dilemma.

I don't do enough work as it is, but I'm thinking a little time with a flow chart could demonstrate how to address the problem for every class that is a car or two shy.

Technically, I suppose only one run a day has to be completed in order to qualify?

We have lots of intelligent people that show up for these events. There has to be someway to meet the contingency requirements without violating the spirit of the competition.

(I tried to recruit several drivers from another organization while I was at Homestead this past weekend. No luck so far.)

There are still several HPDE-4 drivers who could conceivably move up to TT. All they really need is a transponder (it sucks that AMB has the market cornered at $400 each) and, of course, evaluation and approval (which is only 2 HPDE-4 days if they are already with NASA-FL). Eric in the Zippo Mustang would definitely fit into the upper TT classes, and there is another black 911 that might be able to move up.
