nape
Congrats, Jay. It's always nice when it's fast off the trailer. Jay, congrats on the win. We missed you at Sebring buddy Ahhh, someone who was at Sebring. Congrats on your wins. I've been wondering what happened to Robin though. I saw he DNF'd on Saturday and didn't run on Sunday. Any idea?
Mystic_Cobra
Thanks for rubbing it in, Phil. I ran the 888s for the first time this weekend and was about a second off my usual pace. I've got some more tuning to do. Congrats on the win, Jay.

Members Jay A.
Thanks for the kudos guys. I had a great time. What a great bunch of AI /AIX racers in the Mid-Atlantic region. I was fun and a pleasure to race with everyone. Also thanks for the hints on the track to everyone I asked. And I think I asked everyone. The Hyperfest was a blast. I manned the Hawk Vendor booth on Saturday and enjoyed all of the festivities afterwards. Cobetto was worried that the rain might scare people away but afterwards he reported that the attendance was about the same as last year. Sunday an opportunity came up and I had to race. I ran the 888 and they seemed to work fine. I did not have time to play with pressures or even get pressures or temps. First time at the track so nothing to compare. Bruce sorry I did not make the haul to Sebring. That 18 hour tow was not part of the program this year. I would have liked to play with the Florida boys though on their home track. Maybe another time. Jay Andrew
Frank Corkran
I ran the 888s for the first time this weekend and was about a second off my usual pace. I've got some more tuning to do. Well, so was I and I was on (3) old RA1's. I'd say the poor track conditions had something to do with it. Nice job, Jay. Less than a second off the new track record in your first day on the track, under far from ideal conditions. And that was on the last lap of the race! Too bad Beau wasn't there to give you some real competition for the AI win, but he was at home with his newborn son. You can't compete with that. Mystic_Cobra
Congrats Jay!!! Now o course real men go down and race in 100 degree heat in Florida for a real challenge. We'll have our share of 100 degree days here in MA. No need to drive 20 hrs to run in the heat. We had 95 at Summit in APRIL.
